Hotel Oblitas Plaza De Armas Cusco is located in what was once the palace of the greatest ruler of the Andes: the Inca Pachacuteq "The Transformer of the World", the same who planned and built Inca city of Machu Picchu as his summer residence. Cusco was the capital of the greatest empire in South America and had a sudden end due to the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors in 1532. Since then the mythical city of stone would be transformed according to European standards to make way for the colonial city showing characteristics of the syncretism of the two cultures.
